Ninth International Conference

On June 19, 2006, The National Center on Shaken Baby Syndrome hosted a day-long symposium in Kyoto, Japan. This symposium is held to discuss Infant Crying as a Trigger for Shaken Baby Syndrome: A Tragic Deviation in Infant Development.

This symposium is in conjunction with the International Society on Infant Studies Conference held June 20-23 2006 in Kyoto, Japan. The ISIS Conference has resulted in an exceptional opportunity to offer a unique one-day pre-conference on shaken baby syndrome resulting from inappropriate responses to normal infant crying and behavior. The faculty was comprised of leading scholars in this field and was available for discussion and debate on this preventable developmental tragedy.
